By nights a sub-editor in the sports department of an Indian daily. For the rest of the day, PR Head at Make A Difference, an Indian youth volunteer network that works with under-privileged children in orphanages, poor homes and street shelters.
About the MDGs
Make A Difference is an organization that believes in ironing out the inequality in education.
There are lots of issues that need to be worked on in today's world. But Education, has one advantage while addressing it. While food and money may run out, education is an asset that you give to someone for the rest of his life.
Giving under-privileged children a chance to stand on the same platform as their more-privileged counterparts is a mission that, I strongly believe, will truly Make A Difference.
If it's 10 children that we're empowering today, ten years down the line, it'll be 400-500 people who'd be benefiting because of it! At least!
